
Shelby Tilton
Originally from North Dakota, Shelby was raised in a military household within a tight-knit rural community. In 2018, she moved to Nashville to pursue her passion for the life sciences at Belmont University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology.

For the past several years, Shelby has worked in patient care, gaining invaluable experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds. Building on this foundation, she has completed her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University and now provides counseling services with a warm, client-centered approach.

Shelby believes therapy is most powerful when it feels authentic and collaborative. Guided by a person-centered perspective, she meets clients exactly where they are, creating a safe and supportive space to process challenges and foster growth. Her work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and a genuine desire to understand each client’s story.

She has particular passion for advocating for women’s issues and supporting veterans and military families, drawing on both personal and professional experiences to walk alongside these communities. Shelby is committed to helping clients gain insight, build resilience, and move toward greater well-being with confidence.
